Scrabble anyone?

I had so much fun altering an old Scrabble board to create a piece of wall art, using words to describe what is important in my life.  Please don’t email and tell me where the word is off. My dear sweet child helped me and the letters were glued before the shift noticed. If you love words, this might be a fun project for you too.

Our scrapbook has a new page about playing Scrabble with my grandma. I inherited her love of words-we have been playing competitively as long as I can remember. Now we will always have the memory preserved. I have even beat her on occasion, rare I admit. However, the glory of those moments live large in my mind.

About christasterken

Committed to a life of purpose. Learning to live abundantly. Embracing creativity. Questioning. Delighting in the comforts of home and family. Determining not to settle only for how things are, but how they could be. Writing is part of who I am, so I trust In God who gave the gift to show me how I can serve Him through it. That is my life…one word at a time. Psalm 89:11a“Teach me your way , O Lord, and I will walk in your truth”
