Favorite books of the year

Standard

For fiction my best read was Dinner with a Perfect Stranger:An Invitation Worth Considering by David Gregory. I loved every second and didn’t want it to end..I would recommend this to anyone! A regular man has dinner with a very special guest.

The Relief of Imperfection by Joan C. Webb was a life changing non-fiction treat I read with a great group of ladies from church.

Both books gave me great hope for what can be.

Tina Forkner is having a great contest about books that give YOU hope. If you want to check it out,

About christasterken

Committed to a life of purpose. Learning to live abundantly. Embracing creativity. Questioning. Delighting in the comforts of home and family. Determining not to settle only for how things are, but how they could be. Writing is part of who I am, so I trust In God who gave the gift to show me how I can serve Him through it. That is my life…one word at a time. Psalm 89:11a“Teach me your way , O Lord, and I will walk in your truth”
