Hark! Is that Spring in the air?

We made it! Our first Indiana winter seems to be through. Today we all wore shorts at the park and enjoyed every moment of being in the sunshine. Imagine our surprise to realize it was only 60 degrees. Apparently we are more acclimated than we knew. The robins are everywhere, sunshine is cheerful and even our grass is turning green. There is a part of us, we must confess, that thought “That was IT? The whole winter of snow gone already???”

Probably won’t miss the subzero temps, but who knows? After surviving the oncoming humidity of our first Indiana summer we might just long for those temps with a nostalgic twinge to our voice. Time will tell…

  1. Your day in the park sounds magical. Unfortunately, we have yet to see the signs of spring, bar a few robins hopping about. I’m sure the next few weeks will hint at green grass and budding trees.
    Enjoy your week!
