What can I give?

Standard

Yesterday was my friend’s birthday. In trying to think up the most perfect gift for her I was stumped. You see she is the most creative person I know, funny, totally edgy and altogether wonderful. What do you give a friend like that? We have had the unexpected gift of being totally honest with each other from the beginning of our friendship. She doesn’t really need anything, I could make her a gift, send her a card. Then I realized that what this woman needs is the whole world to know that she is special. That is what I know that she is learning. This is my gift Eb…that the whole world can see that YOU are worthwhile, valued and loved. Happy Birthday friend, my words are the most personal thing I have to offer you. Thanks for being my friend, I am sure I make you nuts 🙂   Here’s to birthdays gone by, cheers!

  1. Oh wow…. What can one say about all of that. Now that I have dried my tears, I just want you to know that I love you like a sister. I cherish your friendship more than any I have ever had. I know you don’t realize this, but you are an inspiration to me in so many ways. I love you, sista!
