Juke Box Hero

Standard

My parents gave me my first tape as a child, Foreigner 4, I believe it was called. The song “Juke Box Hero” came on tonight which immediately caused my foot to accelerate a bit. Whoa Nellie. I am thankful for cruise control. How do you not rock out to a good song?  There actually is a solution. Several days ago I was lost in Northern Indiana. The directions led me through several small towns, in a row. Read-speed limit 25 for a loooonnnngggg time. Then the panic set it as “Free Bird” by Leonard Skynard came on. Sure it starts safely, but do you know the agonizing slowness of  a drive where you can NOT play air guitar with ???

Oh, my daughter surely rolled her eyes, not being an air guitar connoisseur herself. More of a drums girl. The conclusion, and only solution aside from shutting down the radio (and seriously, let’s not get crazy here) it the industrious contraption that controls our cruise. The simple things.
