Rain, Rain, Don’t Go Away

Today the rain started. We realize we might be the only ones in the Midwest cheering right now, glad you don’t all have our address! 🙂  On a business call today, the person commented how dreary this weather was. He couldn’t wait for it to go away. I blurted out, “We love it!”. After the awkward pause he joked ( I Think) “Better not say that out in public, you might not make it home alive.” But it is with boldness, gladness of heart, that we publicly rejoice in this downpour! It reminds us of our beloved Northwest, which ironically has snow this week while I had my windows open most days. The only people more excited than I are my big kids, who happily leave their blinds partway open so they can see it until they go to sleep. Happy memories and sweet dreams girls.
