31 Days To Decorating With (Re) Purpose – Frames

Frames. Frames. Frames. Is that stuck in your mind yet? Start collecting them, ugly is ok, free is even better. Did you know Goodwill stores have half price days once a month?

The first Saturday monthly, is when you can join the throngs of people. Something about cheap for half price is intoxicating to bargain hunters.  That means if you can swing it,  discount day is coming up this weekend. I like to keep a small stash of 8 x 10 and 11 x 14s in my closet. Frames will be your (re) purpose friends. If you find some canvases grab those too. The picture won’t matter, as long as the size works for you. There are many ways to personalize your home with this one item.

Mark the calendar. Now, I’ll wait…

  1. Hi Christa,

I love your 31 days so far. I will be following along to check out your ideas for the month. Like you, we don’t have a lot of extra money to decorate the way we would love to. Although I know there is tons we can do with little or no money. I am eager to see your projects. You have already inspired me to visit my goodwill stores and other thrift stores in search of tons of frames.

I will also be calling my goodwill to find out what day they have half off. I am in Ontario, Canada so am not sure if they are global or things are different here but I will find out. I know that if I look hard enough I will find what I can use at a good price. Thank you for the tip about the frames and I can wait to see what you do next!

  2. Um, I did NOT know about the half-price days. I will have to ask my store when their day is. 🙂
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. I prayed for you today…
