An Honoring Tribute

Our church had arranged for two ladder fire trucks to spread this colossal flag over the driveway today. Beautiful. Tragic. Powerful. Hopeful. Remembering.

Grateful For Independence Day

We often celebrate 4th of July, while time is seeming to erase the reason we celebrate. Seldom to we say “Happy Independence Day!”  This should not be. Simply being the 4th day of a random month would be a small thing to cause festivities across our nation. I invite you to read the Declaration of Independence here and give thanks for the people who sacrificed so much to allow us the freedom we now celebrate.
