We worked on a project yesterday that required cutting out pages of books. This provided piles of paper, filled with random sentences. My daughter pointed out several funny phrases she thought I’d laugh at. I got more excited with each page! Seriously, I was like a hound dog on a scent. It was fun to study dissected sentences, looking at how words stood on their own with power or humor. Didn’t give a thought to how I’d grabbed a red pen to underline things to come back to. My family did though, and stated the editor in me just has to come out. The red pen; a humble yet powerful tool.
